Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Sr Director, Executive Compensation to own the strategy, design, and execution of executive compensation programs in a leadership role. The position partners with senior leadership, the Compensation Committee, and key stakeholders to ensure market-aligned pay decisions and strong governance.

You will drive job evaluation, leveling, reporting, and disclosure support in a board-facing environment, with responsibilities spanning strategy, governance, and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, or Business Administration; MBA preferred.
  • Extensive experience in executive compensation.
  • Strong knowledge of regulations and governance trends.

Responsibilities

  • Provide insights on compensation trends and regulatory changes.
  • Develop and oversee job evaluation and leveling processes.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Sr Director, Executive Compensation to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This leader will own the strategy, design, and execution of executive compensation programs that support competitive pay practices and strong governance. The role will partner closely with senior leadership, the Compensation Committee, and key stakeholders to ensure executive pay decisions align with market trends, shareholder interests, and regulatory expectations. You will also help drive executive job evaluation, leveling, reporting, and disclosure support in a highly visible, board-facing environment.

Location: Toronto, ON - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $202,000 – $302,000 annually

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and execution of executive compensation programs
  • Ensure programs align with market competitiveness and shareholder interests
  • Provide insights on compensation trends and regulatory changes
  • Develop and oversee job evaluation and leveling processes
  • Prepare materials for the Compensation Committee
