Crafted Highlights:

In the role of Sr Demand Planner in Toronto, Canada, you will be responsible for analyzing sales data related to planning and forecasting to ensure precise production aligned with business strategies.

You will partner with KAMs and regional sales directors to support commercial forecast execution, exceeding accuracy targets. Your ability to clearly communicate forecast performance and assumptions will be critical to achieving regional performance goals.

This position reports to the Sr Mgr, Forecasting, and Demand Planning, working closely with the Integrated Business Planning organization. You will manage forecasts and demand analysis for specific territories and brands.

What You’ll Be Brewing:
  • Organize and document forecast assumptions (prices, promotions, product placement, new product development)
  • Communicate risks and opportunities in forecasts to drive consensus
  • Use knowledge of volume drivers and demand planning concepts to improve forecast accuracy
  • Evaluate top-down forecasts for reasonability
  • Handle ad hoc customer requests and manage forecast exceptions
  • Inform supply planning of forecasts, communicating weekly performance for up to 24 months
  • Build relationships and act as an extension of sales/brand teams
  • Influence stakeholders through data storytelling and clear communication of trends
  • Create presentations for VPs and Directors outlining forecast drivers and volumes
  • Lead resolution of demand-related issues with cross-functional teams
  • Support project volume estimates and post-mortem evaluations
  • Support annual planning processes
  • Provide coverage and support for the Demand Planning team
  • Assist the Canadian Commercial Team in delivering accurate sales forecasts
  • Ensure forecast accuracy influencing sales targets and capacity planning
  • Lead collaborative planning with sales, marketing, supply chain, and other partners
  • Conduct data analysis to identify demand patterns and improve forecast accuracy
Key Ingredients:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Mathematics, or related field
  • 3-5 years experience in Forecasting, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, or Production Planning in Consumer Goods
  • Ability to handle complex projects and understand business priorities

Pay and Benefits:

We are committed to fair and equitable compensation. The salary range for this role is $80,900.00 - $106,100.00, plus an 11% target short-term incentive and approximately $11,000 in benefits per employee, including health, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and more.
