Crafted Highlights :

In the role of Sr Demand Planner working in Toronto, Canada. You will be responsible for understanding, validating and analyzing data relating to sales planning and forecasting to ensure production planning that is precise and in line with business strategies.

In addition, you will also partner with KAMs and regional sales directors to support them in successful commercial forecast execution while continuously meeting or exceeding accurate targets. Your ability to clearly articulate forecast performance and assumptions will be critical to drive and meet regional performance targets.

This position reports to the Sr Mgr, Forecasting, and Demand Planning and works closely with the Integrated Business Planning organization. You will manage forecasts and demand analysis for a defined territory and brands.

What You’ll Be Brewing :

  • Organize and document forecast assumptions (prices, promotions, product placement and new product development)
  • Communicates risk & opportunity in the forecast to drive consensus
  • Leverages knowledge of micro and macro level volume drivers and demand planning concepts to improve accuracy of demand plan and support commercial and supply chain decisions
  • Evaluation of top-down forecast to ensure reasonability
  • Performs and delivers against ad hoc customer requests and analysis - manage forecast exceptions and drive decisions that yield best return of volume and profit
  • Informs supply planning of long-term and short-term forecast; communicates weekly forecast performance and changes for up to 24-month horizon
  • Develops relationships and is viewed as an extension of sales / brand team(s)
  • Influences and aligns stakeholders through fact-based analysis, data storytelling, and clear communication of trend drivers and assumptions in the forecast; ability to adjust communication based on varying audiences and levels of leadership
  • Creates presentations to VPs and Directors outlining key forecast drivers and expected volumes with risks and opportunities
  • Leads the resolution of demand-related issues with cross-functional teams, focusing on continuous improvement of processes and tools
  • Supports START project volume and cannibalization estimates, including post-mortem performance evaluation
  • Provides support during the annual planning process
  • Provides coverage and support for the Demand Planning team as needed
  • Supports the Canadian Commercial Team to deliver unconstrained and accurate sales forecasts
  • Accountable for the accuracy of multiple forecast levels that influence sales volume targets, P&L, and capacity planning
  • Leads collaborative planning with cross-functional partners : Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, National Key Accounts, MACS, and statistical modeling
  • Conducts advanced data analysis to identify demand patterns and variances, improving forecast accuracy and reducing inventory obsolescence

You have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.

You have at least 3-5 years of experience in Forecasting, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Production Planning, or Consumer Goods.

Pay and Benefits :

We are committed to fair and equitable compensation.

Salary Range : $80,900 - $106,100, plus an 11% target short-term incentive and approximately $11,000 in benefits per employee, including health, dental, vision, retirement, wellness incentives, and EAP. Paid time off includes holidays, vacation, and sick days.
