Maple Leaf Foods Inc is seeking a Senior Demand Planner to develop and maintain the finished goods forecast used by operations and commercial teams. You will lead the 18-month rolling forecast in IBP, collaborate with sales and cross-functional partners, and ensure accurate demand signals to optimize inventory.
Ideal candidates have 3+ years in demand planning, strong Excel and data analysis skills, and familiarity with IBP.

Senior Demand Planners are members of our Customer Business Teams (CBT’s) working very closely with sales and other cross functional partners and customers to ensure the Supply Planning team has the best possible forecast information to drive inventory optimization.

To be successful in the role, the Senior Demand Planner must possess the business acumen and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with our commercial and operations teams as well as other internal and potentially external stakeholders. Resourcefulness, creative problem solving, critical thinking, and expert data analysis are exhibited by the Demand Planning team daily.

Compensation: $71,000 - $103,000 CAD base pay annually plus annual short-term incentive
The above compensation reflects the target compensation for the position at the time of posting. The base salary offered may vary based on a variety of factors including skills, experience, education, training, job- related knowledge, and other organizational requirements. For part-time roles, salaries are adjusted according to scheduled hours. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible to participate in Maple Leaf’s annual short-term incentive plan.
