Randstad Canada is seeking a senior data engineer to design, build, and maintain a scalable data pipeline from scratch for our retail analytics platform. You will ingest and centralize large datasets using Python, PySpark, Databricks, and Microsoft Azure in a fully remote setup within Canada.

Currently, our retail analytics platform relies on fragmented data sources. Your mission will be to help build a brand new data feed from the ground up to supply comprehensive, centralized data to both our internal retail analytics platform and directly to vendors who require raw data feeds. You will be joining an Agile environment running on bi-weekly sprints, daily stand-ups, and weekly team meetings.
Duration: 1-year initial contract. Independent contractors preferred. There is a strong possibility of contract extension or conversion to a full-time employee.
Location: Fully Remote within Canada. You must be available to work Eastern Standard Time (EST) core hours.
