Base pay range

CA$160,000.00 / yr - CA$170,000.00 / yr

Key Responsibilities :

Design and management of enterprise databases, data warehouse systems, and data pipelines between these systems. Along with day-to-day responsibilities, bring thought leadership and set standards for data engineering pipelines, data warehouse and modelling designs and data security. Integrate new systems with existing warehouse structure and refine system performance and functionality.

Job Description :

• 15+ years experience in technology
• Proven experience as a Database Architect or similar role, with a deep understanding and experience in engineering data solutions (databases and data pipelines)
• Proficiency in SQL and database performance tuning.
• Strong knowledge of ETL, Data Modelling, Data Engineering and Data Architecture.
• Experience with any of cloud systems – Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Experience with Data Modelling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
• Experience in designing resilient data engineering and data warehousing solutions
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake and Airflow.
