Our client is Canada's largest retailer. They are looking for a Sr Data Analyst with strong SQL, and data transformation techniques to play a key role in enhancing a data product aimed at providing a unified view of patient data.

Duration: Until end of yr to start.

Location: Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite (B&L and/or 1PCC)

Project Summary:

The Data Analyst will play a key role in enhancing a data product aimed at providing a unified view of patient data. The project focuses on improving the current vendor solution by cleaning and optimizing patient records stored in the Cerebro data repository. The goal is to improve how patient data is visualized and analyzed. The Data Analyst will collaborate with a senior data scientist to support the analysis and enhancement of this data product.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze patient data stored in the Cerebro data repository to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
• Identify and clean data inconsistencies such as null values and outliers.
• Support the senior data scientist in enhancing and optimizing the data product.
• Develop use cases that demonstrate the effectiveness of the data product.
• Document findings and provide recommendations to maintain data quality and integrity.
• Assist in creating statistical reports and models to inform data-driven decisions.
• Maintain strong attention to detail, especially in cleaning and validating data.
• Collaborate with technical teams to enhance data products and meet project requirements.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL, including the ability to perform self/outer/cross joins, queries/subqueries, and correlated subqueries.
• Familiarity with Python, particularly the ability to read and understand Python code.
• A strong mathematical or statistical background to analyze and interpret data effectively.
