About the Role
As our Sr. Creative & Content Manager, you are the brand’s visual storyteller. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Poppy & Peonies' creative vision and content strategy across a variety of platforms, including digital, social media, email marketing, and e-commerce. You will be responsible for leading the development of compelling, on-brand content that resonates with our target audience while driving engagement, awareness, and conversions.
We are seeking a visionary leader to join our team, someone who will inspire and guide the content team with innovative creative direction. By analyzing content performance and leveraging insights, you will continuously refine strategies to enhance engagement and maximize the brand’s impact across all channels. Ultimately, you will ensure that every piece of content is aligned with Poppy & Peonies’ values and contributes to driving the brand forward in a competitive market.
The Opportunity
- Overseeing and enhancing the brand’s image and identity across all channels, including branding, graphic design, photo and video content.
- Leading content strategy, creative direction, and coordination of all brand photo shoots.
- Managing styling, props, location scouting, and shoot logistics to ensure seamless execution.
- Collaborating with the VP of Marketing to develop campaign pitch decks, approval decks and visual direction.
- Partnering with the VP of Marketing to establish and enforce brand guidelines and guardrails.
- Conceptualizing and pitching compelling campaign narratives and visual identities.
- Designing and executing graphic design work as needed for various projects.
- Supervise and mentor the Graphic Designer and Content Coordinator to ensure high-quality deliverables.
What You Bring to the Table
- You are a well-rounded creative from the fashion or consumer products space with leadership experience (leading both strategy and people).
- You have a genuine passion for fashion and consumer products, with a keen eye for trends and aesthetics.
- You have 5+ years of experience in creative direction and content management within a fast-paced environment.
- You have proven experience managing and leading creative teams, including graphic designers, content creators, and other professionals.
- You have a strong background in conceptualizing and executing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, print, social media, etc.).
- You have experience in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- You have a solid understanding of brand development, creative direction, and visual storytelling.
- You have excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- You have a strong ability to conceptualize creative strategies and effectively communicate ideas.
- You are proficient in content creation, including writing, editing, and overseeing production.
- You are knowledgeable in social media platforms, trends, and content strategies.
- You’re a collaborative team player who can brainstorm with others.
- You’re flexible and can adapt to changing priorities on the go.
- You are detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Location
- This is a hybrid role based in Vancouver, Canada, and will require travel into our office, as well as, domestic or international travel for photoshoots, events, and team retreats.
- At this time, we are only considering candidates based in West Coast, Canada for this role. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to explore other opportunities with us in the future if you're located outside of this area.
Salary and Total Rewards
- Annual Salary ranges from $120,000-$130,000 CAD
- 3 weeks of paid vacation per year
- 5 additional flex days
