A leading logistics company is seeking a courier to operate vehicles for package delivery and pick-up. The role includes mentoring staff, promoting sales, and ensuring efficient route coverage. This is an interview position.
Responsibilities include operating company vehicles to efficiently deliver and pick up packages, providing coverage for a minimum of 15 routes in a floating capacity, and serving as a mentor to hourly employees by demonstrating strong communication, conflict resolution, and leadership skills through Best Practices methods.
The role also involves promoting sales and generating potential incremental revenue where possible.
Educational Requirements: High school diploma/equivalent
Related Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of previous courier experience
Adjustment Period: 6 months to learn or adjust to the job
Special Notes: Incumbents do not have regular routes but cover open routes in the absence of the assigned courier. The DG specialist requirement depends on station size and location, with senior management having override rights.
