Job description

This is a local post for Port Coquitlam employees.

This is an interview position.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages efficiently, covering a minimum of 15 routes in a floating capacity without a regular assigned route.
  2. Model leadership and communication skills, serving as a mentor to hourly employees and demonstrating best practices in conflict resolution and leadership.
  3. Promote sales and identify opportunities for incremental revenue.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Educational Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience Requirements

At least 6 months of courier experience. Note: Incumbents do not have regular routes and provide coverage for open routes in the absence of the regular courier.

Technical Skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to complete and maintain DG certification, including yearly recurrency training.
  • Knowledge of FedEx products, services, and general operations.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with equipment.
  • Knowledge of Federal Express operations and Canadian Customs regulations is a plus.
  • In Quebec, bilingual in French and English is required.
Interpersonal Skills
  • Excellent human relations, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Additional Details

Base pay: $24.00/hour. Closing date: 07/05/2025. Two positions available.
