A leading restaurant group in Toronto is seeking a Senior Cook to join their fine dining kitchen. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience, a culinary diploma, and a passion for maintaining high standards in food preparation and safety. This role involves mentoring junior staff, managing a busy kitchen environment, and ensuring adherence to strict sanitation guidelines.
Our Senior Cooks are seasoned cooks which have gained considerable experience working in fine dining kitchen. They are very organized and comfortable working in a high-pressure environment. The Sr Cooks must also be able to give orders within their section, work independently as well as reliably carry out orders handed down to them by the Sous Chef and Chef. Their attention to detail is monumental, able to mentor junior cooks and trouble-shooting any problems that may arise.
