Job description

Corpay is seeking a strategic Sr. Compensation Analyst within our Business Intelligence division. The Sr. Compensation analyst works closely with business leaders and the Manager, Variable Sales Compensation, and compensation analysts to administer sales variable compensation calculations, modeling ROI analysis, reporting deliverables including preparing management reports, presentations, and documenting business process.

This is an exciting and critical role in the organization as this team manages the variable compensation for 400+ HC which involves various levels of corporate strategies with the power of real-time compensation analytics, business intelligence tools, and the in-house platforms.

Role Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this position is to support the regional sales leaders, Chief Data and Analytics officer, and the Manager and Director of Sales Compensation in the administration of global sales variable compensation including commissions, sales bonuses, and incentives.

This role works closely with the team of analysts in the completion of Variable Compensation functions. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Supervise team of analysts in the completion of work.
  • Develop schedules and plans to ensure that required work is completed on time and within payroll submission timelines.
  • Ensure standards and processes are maintained for both commission configurations and calculations.
  • Review quality of analysts' work and payroll submissions prior to submitting to the Sales Compensation Manager and Director for approval.
  • Develop reports and tools to ensure commissions are configured properly.
  • Monitor daily work performance of the team and individuals to ensure service levels are maintained.
  • Identify training and development opportunities for staff and ensure adequate cross-training is in place.
  • Maintain documentation and training material for processes.
  • Maintain documentation standards for Compensation including exceptions and special approvals.
  • Ensure that all variable compensation commission and incentive payments are supported by signed and approved contracts and/or letters.
  • Support the team through change.
  • Ensure data output from processes is maintained in consumable data formats that support upstream consumption.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to current processes, focusing on increased efficiencies and enhanced value-added analytics.
  • Build models to evaluate proposed new commission incentives and structures and evaluate the success of existing plans and structures.
  • Construct Summary reports that identify and analyze outcomes and trends on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5-6 years’ experience in Compensation Analytics and Financial Planning.
  • Business Intelligence tools (Power BI).
  • Budgeting and Forecasting.
  • High level Project Management experience.
  • Basic Knowledge of CRM (Salesforce).
