Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Service Operational Compliance Manager to ensure our cloud services operate at the highest levels of excellence. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in managing complex cloud and hybrid-cloud applications, focusing on operational best practices, automation, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

Key Responsibilities

• Policy Creation: Develop policies, standards, and templates for cloud and SaaS operations based on best practices, corporate policies, and compliance requirements.
• Ensuring Adherence: Ensure operational processes comply with relevant standards and regulations.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational, technical, and process risks related to non-compliance.
• Audit and Review: Conduct regular audits to maintain compliance and identify improvement areas.
• Policy Implementation: Enforce policies related to data handling, security, and privacy.
• Training and Awareness: Educate staff on compliance standards.
• Incident Response and Problem Management: Establish protocols for service impact responses, root cause analysis, and remediation tracking.

Service Assurance

Ensure and audit services against best practices for monitoring and alerting, maintain uptime-focused processes, and ensure SLA/OLA calculations are accurate and transparent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience managing complex multi-tier applications with micro-service architecture
• Strong understanding of operational processes, automation, SRE, and cloud technologies
• Experience in process engineering, documentation, risk assessment, and audits
• Ability to influence and mentor diverse professionals and leaders
