Title: Sr. C++ Software Developer
Location: Remote in USA or Canada
Type: Direct Hire
Pay: $120,000 - $180,000

Job Description: Reporting to the Developer Team Lead, the Senior Software Developer is a senior C++ software developer to join our small and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will participate in the development of the various systems that support trading, market data, post trading, and market surveillance.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement low latency, highly capacity, and reliable exchange applications.
2. Maintain and update critical libraries and code as applications are developed and updated.
3. Contribute to system design and deployment.
4. Collaborate with Project Managers, Operations, Quality Assurance, and other stakeholders to deliver robust applications in accordance with our processes.
5. Conduct and participate in code reviews, identify coding and performance issues, and assess code compliance with established standards.
6. Provide second level support as needed.
7. Create and maintain technical, operational, and procedural documentation.

Required Skills:

1. Bachelor degree (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering).
2. Experience developing software for stock exchanges or high frequency trading firms.
3. 8+ years' experience.
4. C++.
5. Python.
6. Unix.
7. Knowledge of TCP, UDP, multicast.

Bonus Skills:

1. Experience with complex data structures and algorithms.
2. Living in Montreal, QC.
