Insight Global is hiring for a development and support role for Front office application management. We are using this application globally to finance the Capital Market’s trading assets via sales and repurchase transactions (repos) as well as securities Lending/Borrowing trades. The system provides out of the box connectivity and flexible integration tools allowing for significant bespoke development.

Responsibilities

• Provide development and support for the Front office application management system.
• Collaborate with teams to implement bespoke development and integration solutions.

Qualifications

• Expert in C++11, C++14, C++17, C++20, modern C++ and shared pointers, C++ STL, multithreading and high-performance computing. Experience with makefile.
• Expert in all stages of SDLC; able to write clean production-grade code that’s well documented, easy to read, maintain, and extend.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience of C++ development in Linux, and up to date knowledge of C++ (g++) specification and standard.
• Familiar with std, boost, gdb (or RogueWave). Replacing Rogue Wave, getting new vendor software, removing support for this 3rd party, need to rewrite Rogue Wave.
• Experience using and working with common design patterns.
• Experience with DevOps CI/CD pipeline and tools such as Maven, Jenkins, Git, Nexus.
• Experience with distributed application, server-client architecture, microservice architecture.
• Experience with Linux environment and shell scripting.
• Extensive knowledge of ORACLE, Databases and Queues, PL/SQL stored procedure scripting.
• Server-side development (non GUI).
• XML, JSON and Enterprise Messaging Services (Service Bus Implementations).
• Knowledge about agile methodology is a plus.
• Python experience is a big plus or Linux – identify if this has to be coded in C++ or if there are any other ways – data centric system with proprietary cash layer.
• Automate unit testing and/or integration testing is a plus.
• FIS (SunGard) Apex Experience.
