Job Title: Senior Business Analyst – IFRS 9 Project
Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid)
Duration: 6-months Contract
Work Type: Hybrid
Pay Range: C$80 - C$105/hr

Job Description:

• We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join an IFRS 9 initiative for a major Canadian banking client.
• The project is currently being screened and about to kick off. The ideal candidate has strong end-to-end BA skills—requirements gathering, definition, and documentation—combined with exceptional stakeholder management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead discovery and scoping activities for IFRS 9 compliance
• Elicit, define, and document detailed business and functional requirements
• Engage with cross-functional stakeholders (Risk, Finance, Data, IT) to identify priorities and best practices
• Support project planning, gap analysis, and execution phases
• Ensure traceability from requirements through to delivery

Must-Have Experience:

• 7+ years as a Business Analyst in financial services
• Experience in Risk Management and banking domain
• Proven track record working on IFRS 9 or other regulatory/compliance projects
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment (downtown Toronto)
