McKesson is seeking a Sr. Associate Project Manager to support the planning, execution, and delivery of cybersecurity initiatives that protect our technology ecosystem.

This role partners with cybersecurity leaders, technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to drive project execution. The ideal candidate combines strong project management fundamentals with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple cybersecurity workstreams in a dynamic environment,

Formación

  • 2+ years of experience in project management, program management, IT project coordination, cybersecurity project delivery, or related tech environments.
  • Experience using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
  • Experience using Planview Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
  • Experience providing stakeholder communications, project reporting, and status updates.
  • Experience managing project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Experience supporting risk management, issue tracking, and escalation processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams in a tech environment.

Responsabilidades

  • Manage Digital Workplace Services projects and workstreams using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication, status reporting, and executive project updates.
  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, scope, and performance metrics to ensure successful delivery.
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and issues; drive mitigation plans and elevate concerns when appropriate.
  • Partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, and business teams to align requirements and project objectives.
  • Utilize Jira, Confluence, or equivalent project management tools to track progress, document decisions, and manage workflows.
  • Coordinate vendor activities and support governance, change management, and adoption efforts.

About the Role McKesson is seeking a Sr. Associate Project Manager to support the successful planning, execution, and delivery of cybersecurity initiatives that protect our technology ecosystem. This role partners with cybersecurity leaders, technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to drive project execution, manage risks, and ensure alignment with organizational priorities. The ideal candidate combines strong project management fundamentals with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple cybersecurity workstreams in a dynamic environment. Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, stakeholder engagement, and project governance is essential.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage Digital Workplace Services projects and workstreams using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.

Basic Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in project management, program management, IT project coordination, cybersecurity project delivery, or related technology environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, , Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
  • Experience using Planview Jira, Confluence, or similar project tracking and collaboration tools.
  • Experience providing stakeholder communications, project reporting, and status updates.
  • Experience managing project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Experience supporting risk management, issue tracking, and escalation processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and deliver projects in a technology environment.
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Experience supporting workplace technology and infrastructure projects enterprise-wide.
  • Experience with vendor management and third-party delivery coordination.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking for technology projects.
  • Experience supporting organizational change management and user adoption activities.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or similar certification.
  • Ability to analyze project data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and relationship management skills.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered. For more information regarding benefits at McKesson.

Our Base Pay Range for this position $66,200 - $88,300
