Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking an ILS/LSA Engineering Senior Associate in Enfield, NS. You will support Integrated Logistics Support analyses across multiple aircraft platforms and collaborate with System Engineering, Material Management and programs teams.

You will manage RAM and reliability tasks, perform trend analyses, and contribute to LSAR data integrity while advancing operational goals and ensuring security clearance readiness. This is a day-shift, on-site role in Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Aerospace engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform LSA activities on acquisition or ISS programs.

About your next Challenge as an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) / Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) Engineer within - System Engineering:

This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team and play a significant role in the growth of the LSA Engineering department. Facilitating LSA analyses and solutions on many Aerospace platforms, you will monitor, record, analyze and provide recommendations for all Aircraft systems across multiple Aircraft platforms. You will facilitate coordination & cooperation across other disciplines including Systems Engineering, Material Management, Airworthiness, Programs and Operations.

Reporting to the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manager, the ILS/Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) Engineering Senior Associate, you will be responsible for supporting operational objectives within the LSA area of expertise. Working under supervision, you will manage and investigative assignments on aircraft systems, apply established processes and procedures, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve departmental goals. The role involves Trend analysis, Reliability Availability and Maintainability (RAM) investigation, problem-solving, process improvements, and providing peer review of other team members while contributing to the overall operational success and business performance.

Description of Duties :

• Perform LSA activities on either acquisition or In-Service Support (ISS) programs;
• Interface with System Engineering to provide ILS input to design and system supportability;
• Collect and analyse logistics and engineering data to perform sparing, reliability and maintenance tasks analysis, provide improvement recommendations and develop reports;
• Carry out proactive obsolescence analysis and in service health monitoring tasks;
• Record results of ILS Analysis within LSAR database;
• Perform Quality Check (QC) review of peer’s work;
• Contribute to ILS team process improvements and achievement of departmental goals; and
• Promote team work, diversity and respect of L3 Core values.

Essential Qualifications :

• Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Aerospace engineering degree or equivalent experience;
• Minimal familiarity with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineering, Reliability, Maintainability and Availability (RAM), Logistics Support Analysis Record (LSAR), Life Cycle Cost (LCC) Analysis, Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Obsolescence management an asset;
• Past experience (including coop terms) within Defence, Navy or Avionics industry an asset;
• Must be an analytical thinker with careful consideration for details;
• MS Office proficiency, familiarity with XML an asset;
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), English proficiency required, bilingualism an asset; and
• Must be eligible to obtain a Canadian Industry security Clearance to SECRET within 6 months and eligible for International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP).

Operational requirements:

• Must be eligible for registration to the Controlled Goods Program; and
• Must be eligible to obtaining and maintaining the government of Canada’s “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
