We are searching for an experienced Applications Engineer to work in-office on behalf of our client, a Distribution and Assembly of Industrial equipment company located in the Kitchener / Waterloo / Cambridge area. The candidate will have 6+ years experience within the pumping industry and will work with leaders in the industry and be a subject matter expert on pumps, accessories, motors, controls and more. This position will be a part of a positive, collaborative team in a growing business with the opportunity to explore new products, services and interests as the company continues to grow
Profile of Successful candidate :
You are a Mechanical (or related) Engineer with an engineering Degree from a certified Canadian based Higher Educational facility (or WES certified equivalent international Degree) who loves to solve problems and help customers find the best solutions for their project requirements. You combine knowledge with interpersonal skills to deliver outstanding solutions to customers. You are ambitious, eager to learn and want to be a part of an exciting, dynamic, growing company.
As a Sr. Applications Engineer in the Engineering team, you will play a key role in the company''s growth in the municipal, industrial, and commercial markets. You will listen to customers’ needs and apply your knowledge, engineering skills, and resourcefulness to develop the optimal pump equipment and system solutions. The job is challenging but rewarding, with constant opportunities to learn and to use new products and knowledge in fluid dynamics, hydraulic principles, and control systems. You will collaborate with industry experts in pumps, the second most common machine in the world after electric motors.
The ideal candidate will be an eager and involved learner with aptitude for applying knowledge and products to new applications. We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, self-motivated and personable individual with a strong work ethic. You will be primarily working in the company''s KW / Cambridge area facility.
