Job summary

Pacer Group is seeking an API-focused software engineer with 3-6 years of hands-on experience with Apigee Edge/X for API development, management, and gateway implementation. The role requires strong RESTful API design skills and hands-on API security expertise using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, JWT, and API keys.

Preference given to candidates in Canada, Ontario, Toronto area, with experience in enterprise-grade API platforms.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of hands-on experience with Apigee Edge or Apigee X/Hybrid for API development, management, and gateway implementation.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, including HTTP methods, status codes, headers, and payload formats such as JSON and XML.
• Hands-on experience implementing API security using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, JWT, and API key-based authentication mechanisms.
