Who we’re looking for:

We are looking for a talented Senior Analyst to support the Sr. Manager of Portfolio Management in Rogers Bank. We’re seeking someone with a genuine passion for the financial services industry. You will have ownership and accountability for the execution, implementation, and sustainment of credit card related initiatives. An entrepreneurial spirit and customer-focused mindset will be key in making your mark on this growing financial services team within Canada’s leading wireless, cable and media company.

What you'll do:
  1. Design, implement and refine portfolio management strategies across credit card life cycle, including authorization, limit management, collection, pricing etc.
  2. Track and evaluate strategy performance metrics and identify opportunities to mitigate risk while increasing revenue.
  3. Partner with technology team to test and deploy strategy in portfolio management system.
  4. Leverage data analysis skills and provide data driven actionable insights to senior management.
  5. Quantify the impact in key revenue and loss metrics of the proposed strategy.
  6. Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations to monitor and present portfolio KPIs.
  7. Collaborate with adjudication, product and technology team to ensure strategic alignment.
  8. Work closely with operation team to provide support in reporting, customer correction etc.
  9. Provide analytical support on loss forecasting, operation efficiency, profit insights etc. on a regular and ad-hoc basis to support portfolio growth.
What you bring:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Statistics, Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent quantitative field.
  2. In-depth knowledge in credit card industry and credit bureau risk assessment.
  3. At least 2 years of experience in data analysis using programs such as Python, SQL, SAS, R.
  4. At least 2 years of experience in using data visualization tool such as PowerBI, Tableau.
  5. Experience with TS2, Triad, Knowledge Studio is preferred.
  6. Highly proficient with Microsoft office applications - advanced Excel (knowledge of macros-VBA and pivot tables).
  7. Analytical mindset with the ability to effectively communicate, in both written and verbal form, findings and ideas to individuals and groups.
  8. Self-starter, able to manage and prioritize multiple complex tasks with minimum supervision and strong attention to detail.
  9. Desire to learn and succeed in a challenging fast-paced environment.

This is a hybrid work position and will require you to be in office three days per week. You can choose which days work best for you!
