This is a non-union positionReporting to the Strategic Advisor as part of the Power Operations Leadership Team, the Sr Advisor, Strategy & Business Performance plays a pivotal role in shaping and evaluating the execution of Power Operations’ strategic plan and key workstreams.
This role also leads the coordination of monthly business performance reviews and corporate reporting, ensuring insights drive informed decision-making at the highest levels.
What You Will Do:
Lead the consolidation and synthesis of monthly and quarterly Power performance metrics across all functional groups, including Operations, Engineering, Operations Services, Safety & Reliability, Supply Chain, TIS, HR, and Finance.
Develop and continuously refine critical metrics that effectively measure and communicate business performance, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Lead all aspects of planning and execution of Power Operations Leadership Monthly Business Review (MBR) meetings, including preparation of materials, tracking of key actions, and follow-up on priority initiatives.
Collaborate with the Strategic Advisor, Leadership Team, and functional leaders to shape the annual strategic plan for Power Operations, including the development of Workstream Priorities that align with the Power vision and drive effective execution.
Coordinate workstream governance for Power Operations, championing the adoption and effective use of our tools to support quarterly objective-setting and performance tracking.
Who You Are:
You possess a minimum of 7 years of related work experience with at least 5 years of directly related experience in a strategic, operational, or performance-focused role.
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of related university education and professional credentials would be considered
A strong grasp of the Energy Industry and can optimally apply industry knowledge to improve performance. Experience in Renewable Power Operations is considered an asset.
Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and get results.
You demonstrate an innovation approach with a track record of introducing new ideas or approaches.
