What You Will Do:
  • Accountable for the environmental planning process including the preparation of assessments reports, public information sessions, the acquisition of permits, and cost estimating.
  • Work with federal, provincial, and local agencies to secured approvals and ensure environmental compliance of projects.
  • Monitor compliance with environmental permits and conditions during construction and ensure post construction environmental permit compliance.
  • Establish working relationships with government agencies, agency personnel, Indigenous communities, and landowners.
  • Manage environmental aspect of multiple projects simultaneously, including management of consultants and adherence to schedule and budget.


Who You Are:
  • A degree in an environmental or related field.
  • Familiarity with environmental assessment methodologies and permitting requirements across Canada.
  • 6 years of environmental experience in pipeline, industry, or upstream oil and gas sectors.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills, focused internally and externally at all levels.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks and work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to develop effective, collaborative relationships with colleagues from a variety of subject areas, levels of the organization and across geographic locations.
