Création et gestion de contenu: Superviser la création d’un contenu captivant et uniforme pour la marque, notamment des messages clés, des éléments visuels et des initiatives narratives. Ceci comprend des outils clés comme le discours narratif annuel de l’organisation, les présentations PowerPoint et les descriptions, les vidéos de l’organisation et les publications dans les médias sociaux en appui au positionnement de la marque.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of PR and Communications, the Senior Advisor, Brand Communications will be responsible for development, strategy and execution of master brand strategy for the company helping to tell a cohesive and strong story about McKesson Canada’s leadership in the healthcare space.

The successful candidate must work with multiple corporate and business unit stakeholders, including business marketing teams, to develop strategic go-to-market communication plans that are aligned with the company's business priorities. This role is best suited for a high achiever with a high level of proactivity and a proven track-record of managing successful media relations campaigns from planning to execution.

Work Arrangement: This is ahybrid positionrequiring candidates to workon-site at least 2 days per week. The remaining days may be worked remotely, subject to team and business needs.

Specific Responsibilities

Brand Strategy Development:Working with Director, collaborate with the senior leadership team to define and refine the Master Brand strategy, ensuring alignment with McKesson Canada's overall business objectives.

Brand Positioning:Develop and articulate a clear and compelling brand positioning that resonates with our diverse stakeholders, including customers, partners, and employees.

Integrated Marketing Campaigns:Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that elevate the Master Brand, leveraging both traditional and digital channels. (corporate sponsorship, digital campaigns).

Content Creation and Management:Oversee the creation of engaging and consistent brand content, including key messaging, visual assets, and storytelling initiatives. This includes key tools: annual corporate narrative, corporate PowerPoint and descriptions, corporate video and social media posts that support brand building.

Event Content Creation: Lead content role and project management of National Leadership Conference and other events as assigned.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with various departments, such as Sales, Product Development, and Customer Service, to ensure brand consistency and alignment in all external communications.

Brand Guidelines:Maintain and evolve brand guidelines to ensure consistent use of brand elements across all touchpoints. Evolve brand tools association i.e. video, photo gallery, ppt templates, memo templates.

Market Research and Analysis:Conduct market research and analysis to understand brand perception, identify opportunities, and measure the effectiveness of brand initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement:Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including marketing, to drive brand initiatives forward.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degreein Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 7–10 yearsof progressive experience in brand communications, corporate communications, or public relations.

Key Competencies

  • Proven ability to think strategically and execute effectively, with strong project management skills.
  • Demonstrated creativity and innovation in brand communications and campaign development.
  • Experience crafting and implementing integrated brand strategies across multiple channels.
  • Adept at working with senior executives in large, complex corporate environments.
  • Familiarity with the healthcare and pharmacy sectors, particularly within regulated industries, is a strong asset.
  • Bilingualism in French and English is considered an advantage.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
  • Skilled at identifying compelling news angles within a corporate context.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all communications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and foster collaboration across departments.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
