Enbridge is looking for a Sr. Advisor of Asset Management Governance who will be responsible for leading the development, compiling feedback and communication of the Asset Management plan/Addendum for GDS. In this role, you will also contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of the Asset Management Program within the Integrated Management System (IMS) and promote process improvement opportunities.

What You Will Do:
  • Lead the delivery of the Asset Management Plan by collecting key information from stakeholders and providing recommendations on best practices that align with company objectives.
  • Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing progress on business initiatives affecting the completion of the Asset Plan to ensure alignment and ensure delivery to plan.
  • Support the regulatory processes within GDS including the defense of the Asset Plan as a part of a rate case or as required by Ontario Energy Board.
  • Work with the Asset Management team and SMEs in streamlining existing processes and developing new processes (as needed) to create an Asset Management program that aligns with asset management best practices and Enbridge’s management system framework.
  • Support the ongoing reporting, documentation, and maintenance of the Asset Management Program within the IMS program including program components such as stakeholder engagement, training, assurance, change requests, etc.
  • Identify any risks to the program and support the Asset Management team to meet priority department objectives.
  • Coordinate with EAM to provide project management, change management, business process management and communication in support of EAM and BU partnered activities.
  • Collaborate with the AM team and key stakeholders to develop an engagement plan for communication, training and other change management activities to support adoption of initiatives.
Who You Are:
  • Successful candidate will have a post-secondary degree in a related field (business or engineering) and a minimum of 6 years of related experience OR eight-plus years of previous related experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.
  • Ability to compile solid strategic recommendations and reports based on feedback from various programs in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal skills), organizational and analytical skills while demonstrating effective working relationships with peers and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of risk management practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing change management strategies and tactics.
  • Ability to collaborate and build motivation with key partners to work towards collective process and program improvement.
  • Solid understanding of management system governance of programs and elements.
  • Change Management certification would be an asset.
Working Conditions:
  • Work performed in typical office environment with ad-hoc field site visits.
  • Some travel required - up to 10%.
