Job summary

Nature's Path Foods, located in Richmond, BC, is seeking a CPA-qualified accounting professional with 4+ years of progressive experience to lead period-end close and consolidate multi-entity financial statements. You will partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate reporting and assist with audits.

The role offers hybrid in-office Monday-Thursday and work-from-home Fridays, with a base salary of $90,000 to $110,000 CAD plus a 10% bonus. Strong Excel and IFS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• CPA designation and 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong full-cycle accounting experience, including ownership of period-end close activities.
• Experience preparing consolidated, multi-currency financial statements, intercompany reconciliations and eliminations, and supporting notes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; PowerQuery/PowerPivot experience is a strong asset.
• Experience with IFS is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

Your Day-to-Day

• Lead period-end and year-end reporting, analysis, and reconciliations, including preparing, reviewing, and posting journal entries to support an accurate and timely close.
• Consolidate multi-entity trial balances and prepare consolidated, multi-currency financial statements , including intercompany reconciliations and eliminations, and supporting notes in Microsoft Excel.
• Partner with teams across the business to support recurring departmental and fixed assetreportingrequirements,and ensure accurate coding of expenses and journal entries.
• Support financial statement audits and other audits by preparing draft financial statements,schedules, responding to requests, and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to implement and enhance financial systems such as IFS.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and controls, creating efficiencies, reducing costs, and helping the business achieve its goals.

What You'll Bring

Location:Richmond, BC (in office Monday through Thursday, with Fridays working from home)

Compensation:$90,000 to $110,000 base salary, plus a 10% bonus
