About The Job

The Canadian Sales Division is seeking a Senior Account Executive focused on customers in our Federal Government territory. You will be a key part of our revenue team, building a qualified pipeline to drive revenue growth. Your focus will be on expanding recurring revenue by promoting Software, Cloud, Education, and Premium Support Services, along with Consulting Services and Health Checks. Success requires passion for customer relationships, strategic selling skills, and the ability to deliver tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow relationships with key decision makers in strategic and large enterprises, selling SAS’ full solution set including analytics tools, platform, Marketing, Risk, Fraud, and Services.
  • Build trust-based relationships with key executives to demonstrate the value of SAS solutions.
  • Engage with current and prospective customers at director and executive levels to understand their challenges and goals, and show how SAS solutions can help achieve them.
  • Possess deep knowledge of the software industry, especially analytics, and understand business case-driven selling in the public sector.
  • Develop account plans aligned with sales objectives, considering opportunities, customer priorities, regional issues, past sales, and resources; review and adjust these plans regularly.
  • Follow all security policies to support secure software development goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of enterprise software sales experience.
  • Experience selling into the Federal Government is preferred.
  • Competitive spirit.
  • Ability to deliver compelling business case presentations and proposals.
  • Equivalent education, training, or experience may be considered.
  • Proven success in achieving sales quotas.
  • Values curiosity, passion, authenticity, and accountability.
