Role: Sr. Account Executive

Location: Toronto, ON

About the role:

Inside Group Ideas is hiring an Sr. Account Executive to join our award-winning in-house creative, content and production agency. This is a unique opportunity to work with premier clients while playing a pivotal role in the growth and development of our team. In this role you will have great attention to detail to drive projects smoothly from ideation through final implementation and collaborate with cross-functional teams and client partners. You will be the day-to-day strategic partner, project owner and essential line of defense before work is released. Helping to create powerful social, digital, and video content while ensuring brand consistency and excellence in every deliverable. The ideal candidate will have an understanding about account management and possess great communication skills. Looking for individuals with a desire to learn and ability to build a great personal and professional relationship. This role is currently a hybrid model based in downtown Toronto, requiring in-office presence 3 days a week. Must be 21+ years old.

What you will be doing:

  • Work with various cross-functional teams (creative, production, project management, etc.) to organize and implement projects; ensure regular and accurate client feedback and information exchange.
  • Gather supporting assets and support internal departments.
  • Partner closely with creative to prepare creative briefs, ensuring all work delivered is ‘on brief’ and manage assets/trafficking.
  • Participate in client meetings; manage status trackers and provide updates on project processes.
  • Engage with clients independently on small initiatives under the team’s guidance.

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent work experience in marketing, advertising, or client management.
  • 2-3+ years of experience in integrated marketing, social media, digital advertising is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to read a room.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Exposure to working in a client-facing capacity, from handling client requests, to taking full and conclusive briefs and delivering to exceed the client’s requirements.
  • Studio management or coordination experience is highly advantageous as is the understanding of the mechanics of a creative studio.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative with the ability to problem-solve proactively and deal with multiple priorities.
  • Has a hunger for learning; openness and ability to wear many hats and get their hands dirty when necessary.
