Fuze HR Solutions is assisting a precision component manufacturer in Mississauga to find a Senior 5-Axis CNC Machinist. The role focuses on programming, setup and operation of advanced 5-axis CNC milling equipment in a clean, high-precision environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of CNC machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience with 5-axis CNC milling.
• Fanuc and/or Haas control experience required.
• Experience with Mastercam strongly preferred.
• Ability to independently program, set up, and run jobs end-to-end.
• Solid understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Previous jobbing shop experience is an asset.
• Formal CNC training, certification, or apprenticeship is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 5-axis CNC vertical milling machines.
• Perform programming, setup, and operation.
• Load, unload, modify, and optimize CNC programs.
• Select, change, grind, and set cutting tools.
• Adjust feeds and speeds to maximize efficiency and part quality.
• Use appropriate fixtures, indicators, and tooling.
• Measure and inspect parts to ensure dimensional accuracy and tolerance.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Deburr and prepare parts before and after machining.
• Operate equipment in accordance with all safety procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Senior 5-Axis CNC Machinist

Full-Time | Permanent | Afternoon Shift

Pay Range: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour (based on experience)

Shift Premium: 5% of hourly rate

Overtime: Paid after 40 hours per week

Location: Mississauga, Ontario

A well-established precision component manufacturer is hiring a Senior 5-Axis CNC Machinist to support ongoing production and long-term growth.

This role is suited for an experienced machinist capable of programming, setup, and operation of advanced 5-axis CNC milling equipment. The environment is clean, professional, and focused on high-precision, low-tolerance work. Turnover is low, and long-term growth opportunities exist for the right individual.

Shift Details

• Monday–Thursday: 4:30 PM – 2:00 AM
• Friday: 3:15 PM – 7:15 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 5-axis CNC vertical milling machines
• Perform programming, setup, and operation
