Qualifications

• Advanced SQL and data reconciliation required.
• Experience with source-to-target reconciliation and migration validation.
• Knowledge of data profiling, anomaly analysis, and referential integrity testing.
• Experience with large-volume data analysis and reconciliation.
• Proficiency with SQL Server/Azure SQL and Databricks SQL.
• Proficiency with Python (Pandas or PySpark).
• Experience with ADLS and Delta Lake.
• Experience using Azure DevOps.
• Advanced Excel for reconciliation reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform source-to-target reconciliation across legacy systems and reporting stores.
• Develop SQL and Python validation processes for data migration, conversion, and transformation.
• Validate counts, totals, duplicates, null values, referential integrity, and transformation accuracy.
• Conduct data profiling and anomaly analysis to identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Perform aggregate and record-level comparisons to validate migration results.
• Validate transformation rules and data movement processes.
• Optimize queries and analyze large-volume datasets for reconciliation.
• Generate reconciliation evidence and report exceptions.
• Collaborate with data, testing, and business teams for successful outcomes.

Job Summary

The SQL/Reconciliation Quality Engineer ensures the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data across enterprise platforms. This role serves as a key quality assurance resource for data migration, conversion, and transformation initiatives, providing independent validation of data outcomes and supporting confidence in business and reporting data used for operational and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Performs detailed source-to-target reconciliation across legacy systems, ingestion layers, and reporting stores to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
• Develops SQL and Python-based validation processes to support data migration, conversion, and transformation initiatives through comprehensive analysis, testing, and exception reporting.
• Develop and execute validation routines for record counts, financial and business totals, duplicates, null values, referential integrity, and transformation accuracy.
• Conduct data profiling and anomaly analysis to identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues.
• Perform aggregate and record-level comparisons to validate migration and conversion results.
• Validate transformation rules and data movement processes.
• Optimize queries and analyze large-volume datasets to support reconciliation activities.
• Generate reconciliation evidence, document results, and report exceptions.
• Partner with data, testing, and business teams to support successful implementation and data quality outcomes.

Requirements

• Advanced SQL expertise.
• Experience with source-to-target reconciliation, migration validation, and data quality testing.
• Strong understanding of data profiling, anomaly analysis, duplicate testing, referential integrity testing, and transformation-rule verification.
• Experience performing large-volume data analysis and reconciliation.
• Proficiency with SQL Server or Azure SQL and Databricks SQL.
• Proficiency with Python, including Pandas and/or PySpark.
• Experience working with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Delta Lake.
• Experience using Azure DevOps.
• Advanced Excel skills for controlled reconciliation analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
