Reporting to the Software Development Manager, our client is looking for a Database Software Developer for their Toronto office!

Job Duties:

1. Working alongside a team of talented product managers, engineers, and designers.
2. Building new features on the database system in support of the company platform.
3. Database programming in SQL and web programming such as JavaScript and REST APIs.

Qualifications:

1. 3-5 years of experience developing SQL-heavy software products, preferably with at least 1 year using Oracle.
2. Excellent command of SQL, web technologies, and fundamental computer science concepts.
3. Experience with Oracle Application Express and Oracle Forms is a big plus.
4. Working knowledge in web development including HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
5. Understands security, performance, and scalability.
6. Commands a good understanding of REST APIs.
7. Cares about writing good, efficient, and well-maintained code that strikes a sensible balance between productivity and quality.
