Job summary

A technology services company in Ontario seeks a highly skilled Data Engineer for a 6-month contract position with a high possibility of extension. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in building data pipelines, strong skills in SQL and Python, and familiarity with SSIS and AWS Glue. The position requires residency in the Greater Toronto Area for at least 5 years.

Job type : Contract (6 Months) - High possibility of Extension

Pay : CAD$55 / Hour

The candidate must have resided in Canada for a minimum of 5 years and reside in the GTA.

Key Responsibilities :

Required Skills & Experience :

• 5+ years of experience in building Data pipelines
• Strong working experience with SQL and Python
• SSIS experience is Must
• Minimum of 2 years of AWS Glue data pipeline development skills (Nice to have)
• Good understanding of data modeling and familiarity with Data Engineers – Must Have
• Strong knowledge of reports and dashboard building in Tableau - Nice to have
• Solid understanding of QA processes (Unit testing, functional testing, Business acceptance testing) etc.
• Must be eligible for Reliability Clearance and reside in the GTA
