Job summary

Cloud Vital is seeking an experienced SQL Server DBA for a hybrid Montreal role. You will manage database servers, upgrades, backups, and performance tuning, ensuring high availability and security. Collaboration with development teams on query tuning and schema refinements is expected.

The role requires hands-on experience with SQL Server administration, HA/DR options, and PTO, with after-hours maintenance windows as needed. A strong problem-solver and team player is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.
• Experience with SQL Server Administration.
• Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO).
• Hands on experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
• Experience of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
• Team player.
