Job Description

We are seeking a Sprinkler Fitter Apprentice to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities include installing, modifying, maintaining, and repairing fire sprinkler systems. You will be supported by an experienced team that will help you grow, and you will have opportunities to share your knowledge.

Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Represent the CFLS brand positively in all interactions.
  • Perform physical labor, including carrying equipment and tools up to 50 lbs.
  • Work predominantly overhead and in challenging positions such as ladders, scaffolding, ducts, crawl spaces, and ceilings.
  • Install, inspect, and repair water-based fire suppression systems.
  • Cut, thread, groove steel and copper piping, and join tubes using grooved or threaded methods; brazing may be required.
  • Learn NFPA and building code requirements.
  • Maintain a safe work environment following safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with sales, design, engineering, and project management to complete projects within scope and budget.
  • Work a minimum of 8 hours per day (40 hours per week), with possible overtime.
  • Maintain project documentation, including as-built drawings and test sheets.
  • Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance of sprinkler systems as per standards and customer requests.
  • Complete repairs or modifications as directed.
  • No experience necessary; entry-level positions available.
  • Show excellent organization, time management, and teamwork skills.
  • Construction experience and willingness to travel are assets but not required.
  • Eager to learn and grow.
  • Pay depends on experience.
