How will you contribute?

Ahern is seeking qualified applicants for the Sprinkler Fitter Apprenticeship program in Fond du Lac, WI. This 5-year program involves working alongside journeymen installing automatic fire protection systems. Employment will be governed by a collective bargaining agreement. Apprentices will complete on-the-job training and coursework toward becoming a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter. Upon completion, journeymen earn over double the apprentice hourly rate!

What do you need to qualify?

Qualified candidates must be at least 18, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have a clean driving record, be able to travel, and pass a drug screen and physical (the job involves lifting and climbing). Successful candidates are self-starters, have a strong mechanical background, a positive attitude, and can work in a fast-paced environment both indoors and outdoors.

Screening includes drug testing, background check, physical, and references.
