Wesgar Inc. is a premier supplier of precision sheet metal components and value-added services in Canada. The company seeks an experienced Spot Welder/Robotic Cell/Welder Helper to join the growing team in a full-time role.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating spot welding machines, identifying issues, and safely handling parts. Benefits offered after probation include health, dental, MSP, and paid vacations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Basic blueprint reading skills expected.
• 1 year of experience in metal fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Production fit metal parts using spot welding machines and techniques.
• Set up and operate Spot Welding Machines, report issues.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
• Operate equipment safely per procedures and PPE.
• Handle incoming/outgoing parts with care to avoid damage.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE as required.

An opportunity to join our growing team has become available and we are currently seeking an experienced Spot Welder/Robotic Cell/Welder Helper.

Main Job Duties:

• Production fit metal parts using a variety of spot welding machines and techniques
• Set up and operate Spot Welding Machines correctly, identify machine issues and either fix or report them
• Identify opportunities for improvement
• Operate equipment safely according to their intended use
• Handle incoming and outgoing parts safely and with care to avoid damage or injury
• Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE as required

Requirements:

• High school
• Basic blueprint reading skills
• 1 year's experience in metal fabrication industry

Qualifications and skills:

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Mechanical Aptitude
• Able to solve problems and make good decisions
• Punctual and reliable
• Good Mechanical Blueprint reading skills
• Good eye hand coordination
• Able to stand for extended period

Pay: CA$22.00-CA$25.00 per hour

Shift Available:

Day shift (6am - 2pm)

Afternoon shift (2pm - 10pm)

Night shift (10pm - 6am)
