A national organization supporting armed forces in Kingston is seeking a Sports Store Technician to manage sports store activities, equipment purchasing, and inventory for a strong commitment to service and well-being. Looking for candidates with experience in sports equipment management and a valid Ontario driver's license, this role offers a chance to contribute to the well-being of military families through active engagement and leadership.

The Sports Store Technician plans and organizes sports stores activities and equipment purchases according to established policies and regulations. They order and track materials and supplies. They prepare reports for supervisor, as required. They maintain records of distribution accounts. The Sports Stores Technician also obtains quotes for goods / products from suppliers and submits to supervisor for purchases.

This is an on-site position with an assigned work location.
Perform moderate lifting, carrying, pulling and / or pushing (i.e. more than 10 lbs / 4.5 kg but less than 50 lbs / 23 kg)
The successful candidate will be required to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check.
This Category I unionized position is open to all interested parties. Preference will be granted in accordance with the Collective Agreement for the PSAC bargaining unit for NPF Category I employees at CFB Kingston.
This temporary employment is expected to end on April 20, 2026.
