Qualifications

  • Level 4 certification in snow sports required.
  • Legally able to work in Canada from November 2025 until April 2026.
  • Willing to submit to an RCMP criminal record check.

Compensation Information: $30.00 per hour and up (depending on certification and experience)

Physical Requirement: Medium; work activities involve handling loads up to 20kg; both in an indoor and outdoor setting.

This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.

This role is eligible for an incentive for successful applicants to receive $1 per hour worked based on completion of a full winter season contract. Conditions apply to this incentive and will be shared during the interview and onboarding.

Skills you bring with you:

  • Professional and current training certification (Level 4) and course conductor certification with a nationally recognized organization (CSIA, CASI) required.
  • Polished interpersonal and motivational skills and highly organized.
  • Proven track record in tourism guest services and as a team player.
  • Legally able to work in Canada from November 2025 until April 2026.
  • Proficient use of spoken and written English.
  • Willing to submit to an RCMP criminal record check.
  • Several seasons experience as a supervisor with a sports school.
  • Computer literate with Microsoft and POS systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of staff and sales database management and administration.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be physically able to fully undertake responsibilities pertinent to your certification level and discipline in a safe and diligent manner. Able to sit or stand for periods of time; keyboard work.
  • Able to work outside in all winter weather conditions.
  • High degree of physical fitness. Free of injuries that may obstruct daily duties.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Extended sales training and/or experience is an asset.
  • Dual or multi snow sport certification i.e. CSIA and CASI.
  • Post-secondary education in business, H.R, accounting, risk assessment or organizational behaviour.
  • Knowledge of employment standards, accident investigation, supervisors’ responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate according to code of conduct and values statement of Sun Peaks Resort LLP and the Snow Sports School and direct and specific product marketing to guests.
  • Coordinate and support training staff, including on instructor training, on the job performance management, set up and coordination of camps as required.
  • Guest product satisfaction including recovery tactics and communications.
