Job summary

Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership (MLSE) is seeking a student to assist with public relations and influencer relations across its sports brands. You will help with media monitoring, event support, and drafting pitches while collaborating with internal teams on campaigns.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a communications or PR program, with strong Microsoft Office skills and a growing understanding of social media and the Canadian sports scene. Evening/weekend availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a university or college program in communications, media, journalism, or public relations.
• Currently in a post-secondary co-op or internship program.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Familiarity with social media and the sports landscape in Canada is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support PR and influencer relations for MLSE brands and coordinate with internal teams on events.
• Conduct daily media monitoring for the Communications team.
• Assist at PR events and press conferences for MLSE brands.
• Develop media and influencer lists for partnerships and draft pitches for campaigns.
• Prepare coverage and results reports for media and influencer initiatives.
• Provide event support at community events for each MLSE team.
