Are you a highly organized, customer-focused professional with a passion for sport and community programming? The Town of Strathmore seeks a Sports Centre Programmer to join our team and deliver exceptional recreational experiences.

The Sports Centre Programmer manages day-to-day operations at the Strathmore Motor Product Sports Centre, including scheduling and promoting activities, ensuring safety, and providing excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Sports Centre Manager, the Programmer schedules and promotes facility bookings, coordinates daily operations, and develops programs. Acts as main contact for user groups and supports other town facilities as needed.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in Sports Management, Facilities Management, Athletics, Business Administration, or related
• 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Current group fitness certification (asset)
• Knowledge of recreation scheduling software (preferred)

• Planning, organizing, and coordinating skills
• Initiative, attention to detail, multitasking
• Interpersonal, supervisory, customer service skills
• Knowledge of event and risk management
• Knowledge of children's programs and fitness instructor requirements
