Position Summary

The Sponsorship Activation Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Manager(s) of Partnership Activation in the advancing and execution of our sponsorship fulfillments. This role acts as a conduit between internal Oak View Group stakeholders/partners and our Oak View Group clients to deliver best-in-class brand partnerships. Responsibilities include advancing operational needs for partner activations across Hamilton Arena sponsors, organizing, tracking, and reporting on deliverables. The successful candidate will be highly organized and capable of multitasking and balancing competing priorities and relationships.

This role pays an hourly rate of $23.85-$28.85 CAD.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with execution of a portfolio of partnership contractual elements which include media assets, promotions, in-arena activation, hospitality, experiential, and community programs.
  • Manage and maintain trackers related to partner programs.
  • Collect and consolidate data for the purpose of partner program development and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to find creative ways to integrate current and prospective Hamilton Arena partners.
  • Assist in client services and quality control of all partner activations.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as requested.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, business, sports business management, communications, or other relevant field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of marketing experience. Sponsorship or media experience preferred.
  • Strategic and critical thinker who is dynamic, forward-thinking, analytical, and extremely well organized.
  • Highly driven self-starter, with the ability to work as a team or independently on projects.
  • Strong self-awareness, time management, and organizational skills with a proven ability to multi-task and manage projects on strict deadlines.
  • Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to manage long-term projects as well as quick turn assignments.
  • Strong interpersonal & relationship-building skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
