The Team
MCFD’s Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMH) teams are community-based groups that work collaboratively with families, schools, and local agencies to support the mental health and well-being of children and youth. These multidisciplinary teams aim to foster positive outcomes through coordinated, family-centered services across various community settings.
The Role
The Integrated Practice Clinician supports children, youth, and families involved with MCFD by collaborating with internal teams and external service providers to address complex mental health needs. Using a neurodevelopmental and trauma-informed approach, the clinician provides education, consultation, and coordinated treatment planning to strengthen the capacity of care teams and promote stability and healing.

About this Position:
Currently there are two (2) opportunities available; One (1) permanent and one (1) temporary opportunity until July 3rd, 2026.
A permanent appointment may result from the temporary appointment.
Applicants who do not fully meet the required qualifications may be considered for this position, but at a lower classification.
This position is also posted as a Nurse 7 under REQ 119950 and an LP 5A under REQ 119954.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 2 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
