The Surrey Newton Child and Youth Mental Health Team is a diverse and passionate group of professionals committed to supporting the mental well-being of children and youth. Our team includes experienced clinicians, a dedicated nurse, and an early childhood specialist who work together to provide vital mental health services. We partner closely with families and communities to create supportive environments for young people facing serious emotional, behavioral, or psychiatric challenges. The Role
As a CYMH Clinician, you’ll provide direct clinical services, including intake, assessment, treatment, and crisis intervention, to support children, youth, and their families. You’ll work closely with community agencies, schools, hospitals, and other programs to ensure comprehensive care. Your work will have a lasting impact, as you build strong relationships with clients, families, and community partners to coordinate services, resolve conflicts, and influence positive outcomes. Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 2 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
Applicants who do not fully meet the required qualifications may be considered for this position, but at a lower classification.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies in the CYMH South Fraser Service Delivery Area of Surrey.
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) and Criminal Record Review Act Check (CRRA) will be required.
