Job summary

A community childcare provider in Ontario is seeking Relief Childcare Workers for before and after school programs. The ideal candidates will have experience with children ages 4 to 12 and be flexible with part-time hours. Responsibilities include organizing activities and ensuring child safety. This position requires certifications in First Aid and Safe Food Handling. Competitive compensation is offered at $17.55 – $20.55 per hour.

Qualifications

• Standard First Aid with Child and Infant CPR – Level C must be in progress.
• Transportation access twice per day during school year is required.
• Safe Food Handlers Certification required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Organizing and implementing activities based on children's interests.
• Ensuring the safety and supervision of children.
• Preparing and serving snacks safely.
