Qualifications

• Degree from a recognized college or university is required.
• Bachelor of Education degree is an asset but not mandatory.
• Commitment to Spirit of Math teaching methodology.

Responsibilities

• Manage classroom to maintain a safe, orderly learning environment.
• Adhere to Spirit of Math teaching methodology and administrative system.
• Deliver lessons to students.
• Grade assignments, tests and exams.
• Build and maintain relationships with parents.
• Address issues with students’ performance and behaviour.
• Draft report cards three times per year.
• Manage assistant teachers as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of grades and attendance.
• Perform peer evaluations periodically.
• Attend professional development sessions several times per year.

Educational Requirements:
