Job summary

Alberta Health Services seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist II to join the Allied Health team at Daysland Health Centre. You will provide comprehensive clinical services, including prevention, assessment, intervention and case management, within a collaborative care model.

You will supervise students and guide staff, contributing to quality improvement, service integration and program development. This Regular Full Time role is based in Daysland with day shifts and 1.0 FTE.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).
  • BLS is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical professional practice independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Engage in prevention, health promotion, identification, assessment, intervention and case management for patients/clients.
  • Participate in planning, coordination and delivery of rehabilitation services with patients, families and other professionals.
  • Supervise students and provide clinical guidance to staff to support service quality.

You will participate in the planning, coordination and delivery of rehabilitation services in collaboration with patients/clients, families, healthcare professionals and other partners. Your leadership and interpersonal skills will aid you in supervising students and providing clinical guidance to other staff as appropriate. You will use your clinical expertise to inform ongoing quality improvement, service integration, and program development.This position may quality for a recruitment incentive of up to $60,000, based on the length of their Return for Service. Required Qualifications:
