The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) works closely with adults who have various levels of speech, language, and communication challenges. The role involves assessing clients' needs and developing individualized treatment programs to maximize improvement. Service delivery can be provided virtually and face-to-face.
This role requires attention to detail in a dynamic environment, with physical activities including lifting, carrying (using proper techniques), bending, reaching, kneeling, and other movements emphasizing good body mechanics. Tasks may involve walking, sitting, standing, climbing stairs, and fine hand movements throughout the day.
