JOB SUMMARY:
The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for provisions of direct patient services, including diagnosis, consultation, assessment, and treatment. The incumbent is also responsible for participation in departmental/community programs and hospital-wide programs associated with the professional services. The Speech Language Pathologist complies with the Occupational Health and Safety Standards for the hospital and is proactive in promoting a safe work environment. The incumbent is responsible for delivery of care consistent with the vision and values of the hospital and the standards of relevant professional organizations.
