Join a dynamic and dedicated team of caring professionals as an autonomous professional with expertise in typical development and disorders of communication/swallowing, as well as assessment and intervention in these areas. The Speech-language Pathologist will work directly with clients and/or with their caregivers or other persons who regularly interact with these individuals to create environments that promote optimal communication and swallowing for adults requiring this care. The Speech-Language Pathologist contributes to the organization and overall goals of the department/program, including quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education.
The SLP has the potential to positively change clients’ lives by improving their speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities.
We are seeking an SLP with excellent oral and written communication skills, and someone who can connect with people from diverse backgrounds. The SLP should be creative in supporting clients’ goals while adhering to program guidelines, and be an active, engaged team member capable of respectful communication and conflict resolution in a timely manner.
