Speech and Language Pathologist
Speech and Language Pathologists work in several schools in the district to provide evaluation and remediation of a range of communicative difficulties in school populations (Kindergarten to Grade 12). As a member of a School Based Team, the Speech and Language Pathologist will be required to work collaboratively and to provide consultative support to teachers, support staff and families. This position requires travel to various school sites. Applicants must be a member of the College of Health and Care Professionals of B.C .
Qualifications:
AAC Speech and Language Pathologist
The AAC SLP completes the same duties as the SLP and provides a range of services (intervention, consultation, assessment etc.) to students in the district who require Augmentative and Alternative Communication intervention.
This position is based in District Learning Services and provides support to students in elementary schools who require AAC intervention .
